Young and Old

How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. Psalm 119:9 NIV

How can any person stay on the path? Young and old and in between...we all need to live according to his word. And this seems to be such a simple explanation for our young people and our children. 

When they ask how they stay away from drugs: live according to God's word. When they ask ask to abstain from drinking: live according to God's word. When they ask how to escape gangs and unlawful behavior: live according to God's word. The devil says it's not that easy. God says yes it is. Live in Him and he will live in you and that alone is more powerful than any earthly force.

So let us gird ourselves and keep ourselves in God's word. For us. For our elders. For the generations to come.
