Hear our cry

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. Psalm 145:18‭-‬19 NIV

As a parent I am tuned into the cries of my children. When I hear them cry I immediately come to their aid. It's my duty as a parent. We care for our children and want to take care of them. I want to shield them from all harm and make sure they are safe.

God is our father and he is no less of a concerned parent than we are. He hears us when we cry out to him and he comes to help. He may not always be able to keep us from the consequences of our actions, but he will be there to see us through.

He loves us and wants to save us.
