People Pleaser

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10 NIV

I think the proper response to this verse would be, 'word'. I like to think that I am a people-pleaser. But with this verse in mind, what does that really say about me? Am I trying to please people for the wrong reasons? Or am I of good intention and following God's word in being kind and gentle with people? It really does warrant some introspect.

We should want to do good work and do good for others not to please them but to be pleasing to God and walking in his word.

Don't be a people pleaser, be God's vessel to serve others.
