God is in Control

Yours, Lord , is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord , is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. 1 Chronicles 29:11 NIV

This verse is exactly why we as Christians should never worry about anything really, especially things like elections and changes in leadership whether at a national level or even at our jobs or in a church. God is on the throne. Nothing surprises him.

Does this mean we shouldn't pray or be involved? Absolutely not. As Christians we have a duty to pray and be willing to lead when necessary or help our leaders. We don't sit back and do nothing.

So pray, lead and do God's work. And know he's got it all under control.
