Visitors

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Revelation 3:20 NIV

In church this morning, the pastor was talking about defeating the symptoms of loneliness. My thoughts went to this verse. Our lives are so busy and so full of sports and parties and work and school and other activities.  But in spite of all the people we are around we may still feel lonely because we are not developing close relationships.

But Jesus is knocking on your door! He wants to come in and visit with you, sit down, chat, have tea. He wants to get to know you and have a close relationship. He loves you and he wants to spend time with you!

Make sure you don't leave Jesus standing on your doorstep.
