Hope

I wait for the Lord , my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. Psalm 130:5 NIV

Hope. It is a powerful tool in any arsenal. Without it, our soul withers away. But with it, well let's just say it can be the only thing you have left and it's enough.

But some days we lose all hope. Our hearts are heavy, grieving. We don't feel worthy. We don't feel strong. We want to hide away and not face the day. We just don't understand why or how or what. It takes our whole being to do what we must.

King David was there too. He had lost everything, except hope. He put his hope in God who delivered him. It wasn't easy. It was probably messy and scary, but in the end it was spectacular. He had hope. Hope in God.

When all else fails, we always have hope.
