Sacrifice

Follow Godʼs example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1‭-‬2 NIV

The ultimate sacrifice....giving of one's self for another. Most of us will never know that kind of sacrifice. Yet we can still model God's behavior and in love offer ourselves to others in love every day. Even that small task isn't easy. There are many people in our lives who are unlovable. They take advantage of any kindness we show them, sometimes manipulating others against us.

And that is our sacrifice to bear. We must continue to walk in love, love the unlovable.  God didn't say we had a choice. We must do all things through love.
