We Got This

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13‭-‬14 NIV

Have you ever said, "hold up, I don't have this all figured out yet?" I have. That's what Paul is saying here. He's telling them, hey, I don't know everything that's going on. But here's what I do know. I know what my goal is and what I'm called to do so I'll just keep doing it and figure it out as I go along. That's me most days, although I gotta admit, most days I don't even know what my goal is, so I just keep pushing along and hope to figure it out.

But Paul knew what I know. We know Jesus. We know God.  We may not know much more than that, but that's enough. I know God and he knows me and he loves me and he does have it all figured out. So I'll just keep pressing toward the prize and doing my best to do what he wants me to do.
