For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:13-14 NIV
It was fitting that this verse popped up the other day. A FB friend was celebrating the birth of her first grandson and she chose this verse as one of her postings about the precious, new life. We often think about babies and children when we read this verse.
But what if we really let this verse sink into our hearts and minds that God is talking about all of us. He knew before time began that you would be born at the exact minute you were, with the physical features you have or don't have, and with all your special talents. He wants you to know that he made you you and there is no better you than you.
Know God's works are wonderful and he put all that wonderful in you.
