Live in Peace

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14 NIV

When I first saw this verse, I was like, "word". Right there it says it all: make every effort to live in peace. I don't know if any of us have done much of that lately. But it's what is so desperately needed. All our differences would not matter at all if we 'made every effort to live in peace'. All the fighting and harsh words and unfriending and blocking and ruined relationships would cease if we could 'make every effort to live in peace.'

Of all the things I could want, my one goal is to see Jesus and I can't if I'm not holy in his eyes through his blood. It's just that simple. So I will make every effort...even though I know I will fail at times...he even builds that into the verse. Make every effort....do what we can to live in peace. I shall.
