Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4:4 NIV
Right now there are some Patriots fans rejoicing over their win. The party will last for a while, but come next season, the win will be reduced to stats comparing one team to another. No more rejoicing. This is true in many areas of life, so we have no other reference from which to go by.
Which is why this verse is very important. Rejoice always! We are to never lose that "just won the super bowl" feeling when it comes to praising God. I know there are days it takes effort to praise him in the midst of everyday life. But one small effort can lead to a big pay off.
Praise him today and then praise him again.
