Praise

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2 NIV

This is David's song of praise after God delivered him from Saul. David praised God during the trial and then praised him after. David knew God's promise of deliverance would see him through but he praised him anyway.

It's hard to praise God when we are going through trials. Sometimes we even get mad and refuse to ask him for anything.  But God comes through anyway. He answered prayers for me that I never even prayed. He takes care of the little things so we can handle each day that comes.

Let's take a lesson from David and praise God always, even when it's hard.
