With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in Godʼs likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. James 3:9-10 NIV
I'm not sure I need to expound on this one. It's pretty clear. It hit me right in the ticker and thinker when I read it. Far too often we speak poorly of some and only praise others. How can we be acting in God's likeness and unfathomable love if we do this.
Surely there are people who we may find difficult to love. But we're we any different outside of God's grace and forgiveness? See them through his eyes. Speak of them through his words.
